Hanover Park, IL - First Eagle National Bank announced today that it will be providing a substantial investment to the Senior Housing Crime Prevention Foundation (SHCPF) for a full sponsorship that will enable the Windsor Park Manor retirement community to participate in the nationally acclaimed Senior Crimestoppers Program.

The Senior Crimestoppers Program provides on-going crime prevention programs designed to deter incidents of crime in long-term care and senior housing facilities. Since its inception in 1994, the program has proven to cut crime, such as abuse, neglect, fraud, theft, and vandalism by more than 90.5 percent at sponsored facilities across the country.

The money will allow Windsor Park Manor and its residents to become charter members in the Senior Crimestoppers Program. In addition to providing lock boxes for the residents' personal property and medication, the program will also provide the community with a proven system for preventing crime against its patients and staff including ongoing education for management, residents and their families, access to an anonymous tip-reporting hotline, and cash rewards for information that helps a facility solve or prevent a crime.

"We view this partnership as a way for First Eagle National Bank to give back to community in a very important way," said Andy Salk, President of First Eagle National Bank. "We are committed to preventing fraud and abuse at every level and the Crimestoppers Program has proven itself as a strong deterrent to crime."

Windsor Park Manor is dedicated to providing a broad range of resources, services and programs to enhance individual and community wellness by collaborating with residents and their families to achieve the best possible results. The Crimestoppers Program will help them in this effort.

"We are happy to have the opportunity to participate in the Senior Crimestoppers Program," says Courtney Littlejohn, Associate Administrator at Windsor Park. "The safety and security of our residents has always been a top priority and this program complements and strengthens our existing efforts. We greatly appreciate First Eagle National Bank for their sponsorship of this program."

The Crimestoppers Program currently operations in over 6,500 nursing homes, assisted living, retirement communities and HUD housing venues in 48 states. The charter presentation for Windsor Park Manor took place on June 20, 2006.
